We had such a wonderful experience at Gongali House. Our host was very kind and thorough in introducing us to a driver to take us to the house and even a chef to prepare our meals. We were using the house as a base to go to Lake Eyasi and the Serengeti and they even prepared a picnic lunch for us early in the morning.
I would recommend Gongali House to anyone wanting to visit Karatu and other places in the area.

Gongali house is a true treasure. With a spacious window lined interior looking out on all sides to both a garden and wooded lot. My room had everything from a fireplace to a well appointed kitchen - which I never used given the delicious meals prepared by Sam the 5 star chef who makes everything from scratch. Add a covered outdoor deck and great location - this is a find.
